Asante's second largest program service accomplishment is the operation of asante three rivers medical center (atrmc), a 125 licensed bed level ii trauma center located in grants pass, oregon. some of the key inpatient services available at asante three rivers include cancer services, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, obstetrics and orthopedics. some of the key outpatient services include emergency services, immediate care, ambulatory surgery, outpatient lab testing, cardiopulmonary services, outpatient cardiac catherization lab, imaging and various therapies including physical, occupational, and speech. during fiscal year 2024, asante three rivers discharged 10,040 inpatient and observation patients, having provided care for an equivalent of 40,024 patient days. the emergency room saw 45,492 patients and immediate care saw 20,738 patients. there were 1,452 inpatient and 4,146 outpatient surgeries performed over the course of the year, as well as 5,601 total endoscopies. during fy24, 661 babies were delivered. asante three rivers rehab department had 50,570 visits to physical, occupational and speech therapies. the combined imaging departments had over 110,000 inpatient and outpatient visits while respiratory therapy had 11,415 visits. the cancer center had 16,938 outpatient visits. asante three rivers had 163,894 outpatient visits for other specialty service areas such as laboratory service, cardiac rehabilitation, wound care, catheterization lab, sleep lab and infusion services. asante three rivers received a 5-star rating from cms during fy24. the hospital also received notice of an additional award recognizing asante three rivers' excellence in safety. that award required licensing in order to publicize by name.
