Self-direction (fiscal intermediary) heritage christian services provides fiscal intermediary services that enable people with developmental disabilities to self-direct their medicaid services. this approach gives participants greater choice and control in selecting supports such as respite, meaningful day activities and in-home or community services. people have the option of choosing the supports that are most important to them and the agency they would like to work with. for people exploring options other than a traditional group home or day habilitation setting, the agency offers customized options where people choose with whom they would like to live and select the supports they would like to have in their home.
