The mission of total health care is to improve both the health and quality of life in the communities we serve.
The pharmacy program is a 340b federal pharmacy with five pharmacies primarily located in west baltimore and one in east baltimore. thc's participation in the 340b program allows it to offer medications at a discounted rate for all thc patients. all of the pharmacies are conveniently located within the same building as the health clinic so patients can receive their medications the day of their health care visit or resolve any medication-related issues. total health care pharmacists are available to counsel patients on how to safely and effectively use their prescribed medications as well as now prescription medications. total health care's pharmacy program also offers medication therapy management services (mtm) to its patients at no additional charges.
Total health care offers a comprehensive oral health program that focuses on preventive oral health inclusive of diagnostic exams, radiographs, hygiene services, fillings, and extractions. as a way to improve oral health literacy and promote prevention. total health care has integrated dental services in its medical, behavioral health, and ryan white hiv/aids services. in addition, pediatric and adolescent patients received dental screenings during their well child visits.
