During the fiscal year ending june 30, 2014, the unreimbursed cost of free or discounted services provided to patients who were deemed indigent under state, county, or hospital guidelines was $7,012,617 which included $1,955,842 of traditional charity care and $5,056,775 in unpaid costs of care for those qualifying for medicaid or other public programs for the poor.
