See schedule oscience education: in 2018, the logan center worked with 8 school districts across the puget sound region on their k-12 science/stem programs; these 8 districts serve over 100,000 students. -students: we provided onsite learning experiences for student groups. these groups consisted of 100 undergraduate students and 100 high school students. -teachers: we provided over 80 days of professional development for secondary science teachers in those districts, which totaled 1064 teacher-days. we also provided 38 professional development days to 10 elementary and middle school teachers participating in a deep learning experience with science and engineering. -principals: we provided a professional learning series for principals in 4 districts. -science curriculum leaders: we provided 21 professional development sessions for science leaders from a collaborative of 35 school districts across king and pierce counties. isb also held various symposia, seminars, and workshops to disseminate basic knowledge about systems biology and create dialog about leading-edge topics. during 2018, 308 external persons attended such events.
