Community living and support - damar's community-based services provide assistance and intervention for all ages. individuals receiving services, either live in their own homes or with their families and need support. the outpatient clinic continues damar's mission into the community by providing behavior management services and mental health counseling. the goal of the outpatient clinic is to help individuals fully realize their potential. damar services provides aba programming to clients at three locations in the city. approximately 1100 were served in this program.
Educational services - damar academy offers comprehensive special education school programs for students ages 6-22 facing delays related to autism, mental retardation, and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. the school is fully accredited by the indiana department of education as a freeway school and can contract with local school corporations to provide educational programming to children who qualify. damar academy serves approximately 110 students.
