Organzing: to provide more workers with access to higher standards, organizing the unorganized remains a top priority for unite here. currently major organizing campaigns are underway across north america. through organizing, unite here members have made hospitality jobs and hundreds of thousands of other traditionally low-wage jobs into good, family-sustaining, middle class jobs.
Administrative and governance: governance of unite here, conventions, general executive board meetings and expenses, and administration of the constitution and bylaws; internal administration of unite here including formulating policy, financial administration, and maintenance of membership status; education and training for affiliated unions' officers and employees; per capita tax or fees paid to a labor organization and litigation costs and professional fees incurred to support internal governance. in june 2024, unite here held its convention and election of officers.
