During the fiscal year ending june 30, 2014, the unreimbursed cost of free or discounted services provided to patients who were deemed indigent under state, county, or hospital guidelines was $10,765,608 which included $2,546,549 of traditional charity care and $8,219,059 in unpaid costs of care for those qualifying for medicaid or other public programs for the poor.
