Wordsworth residential treatment facility (rtf) was a behavioral health program that collaborated with managed care organizations throughout the state of pennsylvania to meet the treatment needs of their clients and their families. while at wordsworth rtf, the clinical, group living, nursing and educational teams collaborated to ensure that all of the adolescents' needs are being met as part of a holistic approach to treatment. through residential treatment and educational programming, clients were provided with the structure and therapy essential to becoming life long learners and productive members of society. the wordsworth residential treatment program was licensed for 124 beds. this program closed in oct 2016.hope springs, wordsworth's acute partial hospitalization program provides a comprehensive treatment and education program in a safe and nurturing environment to assist children, experiencing acute emotional and behavioral issues. this program helps children, ages 5-13, who are in acute crisis and are not able to be managed in their regular education program. it provides the structure and security of a daily treatment program without a residential component. hope springs can serve up to 40 children at any given time. this program closed in may 2017
Wordsworth provides community-based services that include fostercare, treatment foster care, community umbrella agencies 5 and 10 (case management and prevention services), host homes, child welfare case management and community engagement, and out-of-school time programs. combined these programs served over 600 children and youth in fiscal year 2017.
