Bhmg anesthesiology:the providers of bhmg's anesthesiology practice group provide anesthesia care for adults, children, and adolescents undergoing surgery at brown university health hospitals and outpatient centers. the physicians and specialty-trained nurses of this group make up the largest anesthesia group in rhode island and bring their expertise from many of the nation's top training programs. services include preoperative assessments and consultations, state-of-the-art equipment for general, regional, and intravenous sedation techniques, subspecialty expertise in ambulatory, cardiac, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, and regional anesthesia, as well as postoperative acute and chronic pain management.
Bhmg pediatrics:bhmg's pediatric practice group is comprised of pediatricians and specialists who provide routine health check-ups, treat illnesses, lead immunization clinics, and staff rhode island hospital's (rih) pediatric division, hasbro children's hospital (hch). operating expenses for this practice group directly charged to bhmg during the fiscal year ended september 30, 2024 represented primarily payroll and fringe benefit expenses funded by rih.
