Sponsor/donor ministriesthe personal relationship between a sponsor and their sponsored child is a foundational component of compassion's child development strategy. sponsorship is more than a financial commitment. it is also the avenue through which sponsors build relationships with their child. sponsors provide words of hope and encouragement through personal letters and notes that remind children of their full potential and help them to defeat poverty and pursue their dreams. compassion processed over 5.63 million letters between sponsors and their children in the past year. additionally, sponsors and donors have access to a centralized communication center to obtain support and information regarding their sponsorship relationship.
