As of june 30, 2017, avera marshall clinics had 66 clinical providers as compared to zero in 2008 when avera marshall first entered the clinic business. there were an additional 16 providers who joined avera marshall during the fiscal year ending june 30, 2017.the following is a list of services and locations:* marshall - psychiatry, mental health therapy, ophthalmology, optometry, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, sports medicine, general surgery, podiatry, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, general medicine, radiation oncology* in-reach in marshall - allergy/asthma, cardiology, neurology, ent, urology, medical oncology, maternal fetal medicine, nephrology, pediatric cardiology, dermatology* ophthalmology outreach - redwood falls, springfield, montevideo, granite falls* optometry locations outside of marshall - springfield, tracy, redwood falls* ob/gyn outreach - dawson, tyler, redwood falls, slayton, granite falls* podiatry - granite falls, tyler* general surgery outreach - westbrook, tracy, granite falls, tyler* orthopedics outreach - springfield, tyler, granite fallsavera marshall imaging center added 3d mammography and 3d stereotactic breast biopsy services in mid-september 2016, enhancing early detection capabilities and reducing the occurrence of call backs to patients. a geriatric nurse practitioner joined avera medical group in june 2017 expanding local access to care for seniors. a new clinic-based memory care program was developed to provide thorough, specialized care and guidance for those experiencing memory loss and their families. a cnp and a rn earned certification in, april 2017, as lactation counselors making advanced expertise in breastfeeding available to patients at avera marshall in the hospital and clinic settings.avera@home marshall expanded to become avera@home southwest minnesota in march 2017, serving a 7-county service area and enhancing care for patients and families. the expansion happened by combing services previously offered in tyler and marshall.avera marshall formed a professional services agreement with granite falls health for clinic services. the agreement took effect april 1, 2017 and is ensuring local health care options for people in granite falls. avera curaquick clinic relocated at the marshall hy-vee store in june 2017. the new location offers a larger, quieter space for patient care. avera curaquick also changed its name to averanow.
